A woman and her two daughters fell out of a chairlift at Granby Ranch at the end of December, injuring the children and killing the mother.
More than a foot of snow was dumped on Boulder between Wednesday and Thursday, prompting the closing of city schools and government offices as drivers were advised to stay home. This is fairly standard along Colorado’s Front Range communities following big storms. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to stay home and, while street department crews work tirelessly to make roads passable, everyone in a vehicle is at increased risk for serious or even fatal injury.
