when will 34 reopen CDOT reports that US 34 will remain closed between Loveland and Estes Park through early June of 2017. Construction began in July of 2016 with full road closure taking place in October. Since that time, all traffic to Estes has been redirected to routes including US 36, SH 7 and SH 66, all of which have seen an increase in auto accidents. If you have been injured in an accident in or around Boulder County or Larimer County, please call attorney Christopher Jeffress at 303.993.8685 to schedule a free consultation and learn how we can help.

Quite literally hundreds of thousands of passenger and commercial vehicles use 34 between Loveland and Estes every year. In addition to cars and trucks, thousands of motorcycles and cyclists use this popular mountain route every month as well. All of this traffic has been rerouted, increasing risks on already congested mountain roads as well as traffic along the Front Range Corridor between Fort Collins, Loveland, Longmont and Estes. Until 34 is reopened in early June, risks for serious or fatal traffic accidents will continue to increase along these alternate routes.

If you or a loved one are impacted by an accident while traveling to Estes, Boulder personal injury attorney Christopher Jeffress can help. Bringing over 25 years of experience, Mr. Jeffress knows how to investigate these accidents to establish liability and how to take such findings as far as needed to secure maximum compensation for our clients.
